So the SAG awards were last night. And I have to say, I was very impressed with all the gorgeous fashion. But I do have my fave's.

Christina Applegate in Emanuel Ungaro. I love the color, the dress, the long necklace, but I am not a fan of the earrings. But she still is one of my favorites.

I have to say, Jenna Fischer looks GORGEOUS! Pam (The Office) is cute, but Jenna Fischer is beautiful. That dress (Silk chiffon dress by Pamella Roland) is so perfect for her! She looks like a Greek Goddess!

And lastly, my #1 fave....

Kate Winslet in Narciso Rodriguez. She is so well put together. I'm loving the whole "simplicity" of the look. She looks amazing!

If you don't know who Edward is, I'll tell you.... it's Edward Cullen! Yes, the one and only gorgeous, irresistible, mysterious, vampire, Edward Cullen. If you are familiar with the Twilight series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and the much anticipated Breaking Dawn), by Stephenie Meyer, then you love Edward also. Well unless you are a Jacob fan.

Since Breaking Dawn, the 4th and final book of the series, will be in our hands on Aug. 2 and with the Twilight movie coming out on December 12, I felt the need to blog about the series. Since, well, I do love Edward!

Anything about The Twilight series is all over the internet, with blogs, message boards, merchandise, etc... I for one read Stepheniemeyer.com religiously for all new updates, "Tweasers" (Twilight Teasers), and so on. Along with checking out cafepress for some great merchandise. Here are a few of my favorites.

And I couldn't forget about Bella's bracelet, with heart crystal charm given to her by Edward and the wolf charm (that was carved out of wood) from Jacob.

So, if you are a Twihard, then woo hoo, 12 more days until Breaking Dawn. And if this is the first time you've heard of Twilight, then hopefully you read the books and I have made you a fan. They are pretty amazing.

One last thing, from on Twihard to another, Stephenie Meyer, thank you for writing such a wonderful story (stories).

1.Recycle - Recycling is one of the easiest things to do. And why not, you'll make some money on the side. Check out bottlesandcans.com to find local recycling centers.

2.Change you light bulbs - You've probably heard everyone talk about changing your light bulbs to be CFL's. Well, you should! They use up to 75% less energy and last up to 10 times longer. CFL's are so easy to find. Look for them when you're shopping for your other daily essentials... ex. Target, Home Depot, Walmart, your local Grocery Store, etc...

3.Buy Locally - Help support local farmers in your area by buying locally. It's also more energy efficient. You can find more reasons why to by locally along with finding farmers markets in your area at localharvest.org.

Let me start by telling you that I am fascinated with tattoos. When I see a tattoo, (that I am interested in) I usually gawk at it, yes I actually do. I can't help it! I wanted to share with you this great little ECLECTIC online store, Eclectic Eccentricty. The UK based stores jewelry has a vintage, girly, pretty feel to it. Everything is different, one of a kind. And the owner is such a sweetheart! Now that alone makes me a customer for life.

So in celebration of L-O-V-E, here are my top picks...

Winged Messenger necklace (limited). The description for this necklace is, A sweet brass “I Love You” charm made from vintage tooling hangs alongside a rich red rose and an ivory glass pearl bead. Swooping down to meet this charmingly cluster of trinkets is a delightful little swallow.

Well it's officially the month of LOVE.

So many people are ANTI-LOVE (if that is you, then you might want to move on... I'm all about love), but me, I'm so for it. I absolutely, positively, love LOVE. I can't really explain my obsession to the T. Maybe it's the way I feel when I'm in love (which I am) or maybe it's those sappy love movies I love to watch, they make me feel all giddy inside. Or maybe it's because I love the color pink and I love hearts. I know, it's crazy, but who cares, I love LOVE! It's such a wonderful thing, isn't it?

Ok, so enough with my ranting and raving about it. It's almost that time again, Valentines Day.. yes I can't believe it's here so quickly. So for all you ladies that love LOVE and that love Valentines Day, read on..... you might find something you want or need for that matter. Well instead of a "WHITE" Christmas this year, we're having a GREEN Christmas! So many companies are getting in on the earth friendly/eco friendly gifts. I think it's great and I am 100% for it.

Barneys New York has their own GREEN HOLIDAY. And on the first page of the holiday mailer, there was this beautiful Linda Lee Johnson 22kt gold ONE HUNDRED TREES CHARME necklace.

With every one of these necklace's purchased, 100 trees are planted through the American Forests Organization.

Some other great pieces are...

World Pendant by Sharon Khazzam is 18kt pink gold, with pink and white diamonds. With every necklace purchased, Sharon Khazzam will donate a portion to The Edible Schoolyard.

DISNEY, i'm crazy in love, COUTURE

I can remember back when I was a little girl and loved loved loved Cinderella! Ugh, she was my girl. I pretty much loved all of the Disney Princess's at one time or another. But, when I got older, I wouldn't be caught dead with anything that had to do with a Disney Princess.

Well, times have changed. I am reincarnating that little girl again. And I don't care!!!!

Disney licensed jewelry, known as DISNEY COUTURE, is available at 80's PURPLE. This specific line is Kidada for Disney Couture. Yes, Kidada Jones, the daughter of Quincy Jones, has her hand in the designs. Well Kidada, I think you did a fabulous job!

Some of the materials used for the jewelry line are 14kt yellow gold, Swarovski Austrian Crystals, white diamonds, and cubic zirconia. Don't worry ladies, there are affordable pieces as well.

It all started when I found these "OUI" earrings that I loved... And to my surprise, this vintage "OUI" necklace was found!! Who would have thought it. Boy does fashion recycle itself or what.

Well, it's from the 70's! It was only $4.95....... yes, I'm serious.

This vintage necklace is probably silver and pewter. And it's so well made! It might have been around during the run of "OUI" magazine. A short lived publication by Playboy.

Well, I must give the credit to Manuel Paul from THREADTREND. He is, in my opinion, the best thrift store shopper EVER!!! He finds the best items at amazing prices. Ok seriously, who finds vintage Gucci shoes at $2.95??? Manuel Paul did!!!

It's my first post, ever, and I'm contemplating what the hell to write about. A bit nerve racking, I must say... but what the hell, here goes.

Well, it's the 1st weekend of December, that means the holidays are about 3 weeks away, so let's talk gifts.

I'm a HUGE fan of Etsy, so I plan on buying most of my gifts from there. Besides the fact that it supports independent designers and EVERYTHING is handmade, you'll always get a one-of-a-kind item. I'm telling you, I'm ADDICTED to Etsy!!!
